Lifestyles of the Kitch and Shamous

Valentine's Day brings forth many questions. "Am I loved?" "Why are we all participating in this scam holiday?" and most importantly, "What is the perfect gift?". The primary purpose of a gift is to make the recipient feel cared for. My husband made me quite happy with the bounty displayed above. These 4 items represent YEARS of paying attention to my shopping habits and a thoughtful seeking out of appropriate items. (Or quite possibly, my husband is the luckiest man on earth.) Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Here's to kitchen sponge wishes and light up heart rings!

Now see! This is creative, this takes thought, time and attention. Not to mention I assume some planning!

My dh did pretty good too. He got me a box of chocolates but he bought the box because of the retro illustration on the cover and then he laid it out on the table in a bed of shredded paper because it was "crafty." I swear the bed of shredded paper was my favorite part. I guess I am easy to please as well!
