Turn and Face the Strange

Ch ch changes! SO my husband recently left the realm of the free lance journalists to become a working slag. In order to prevent him from spending his days and nights sitting in traffic we have decided to move. Every time I looked for a new apartment I felt as though I was choosing my new lifestyle. Will our neighbor's constant bickering become the new soundtrack for our lives? Will I have to spend my weekends elbows deep in dirty dishes and laundry or will I have the appliances to deal with them easily. (And I don't mean a hammer, chainsaw and a dumpster!) Is it too much to ask for a dishwasher AND parking AND laundry hookups AND stylish surroundings? Apparently yes it was.
What we DID find was a totally fabulous apartment with oodles of old school charm and a reasonable price. All we need now is a dishwasher on wheels to be ready for total domestic bliss.

Good luck with the move! I have some great feelings about Long Beach. DH and I spent our first romatic getaway at the Long Beach Alexander Hamilton B&B. There is a pretty nice brew pup in Long Beach that we enjoy. Can't remember the name but you can't really miss it. It is on the corner in a pretty touristy location. And who doesn't LOVE the Long Beach airport! To me it is like flying in 1964 or something. Once my parents flew into Long Beach and were delayed. So I called the airport and actually talked to a security guy who worked there, he said, "Ok let me look around and see if I see your parents."
